The quest for a weapon of pure Nen has begun. This item, called Kaji or "fire," was crafted by a mysterious Nen master who derived its components from the power of six of his strongest students, each embodying one of the different Hatsu types. The Zaoldyecks have been hired by the York Shin City Syndicate to find the weapon and retrieve it at all costs, by whatever means necessary.

The identity and history of Alluka Zaoldyeck has always been a mystery in the Hunter X Hunter mythos. No mention of this character is made to affect the plotline in any way, save that this Zaoldyeck is supposedly a younger child of the assassin family, born between Killua and Kalluto.

Fire From Heaven attempts to incorporate the character Alluka into the setting of the anime, with a unique twist - Alluka Zaoldyeck is female, younger than Illumi and only a tad older than Milluki. It is quite worthwhile to explore the possibility of a Zaoldyeck daughter already making her way into the rest of the HXH world.

Figuring in an equally prominent role in this story is Wing, the Nen master whose past and motivations are largely left to conjecture. Why did he choose to stay on the "good" side of Nen, given his abilities and knowledge, and to teach this to others without demanding anything from them? What convinced him to directly oppose the wily Hisoka and give Gon and Killua the knowledge and strength necessary to overcome the aura barrier on the 200th floor and various other challenges in the Sky Battle Arena?

This fic is largely hypothetical yet stays true to the spirit of Hunter X Hunter - the search for one's destiny and, perhaps, to come out stronger in heart, mind, body and soul when the journey meets its end.
